Hagai is a seasoned executive with a multidisciplinary background at the intersection of business and pharmaceuticals. With over two decades of experience, he is currently part of the team managing Scientific and Clinical Research at Sphera Global Healthcare Fund & Biotech Fund.
Prior to joining Sphera, Hagai served as VP of New Ventures & Business Development at Rosetta Genomics Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in forming strategic collaborations and preparing the company for its NASDAQ IPO. At Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, he was instrumental in business development, contributing to the company’s strategic growth. His career also includes significant contributions at Hadassah University Hospital, where he led innovative clinical research and development projects.
Hagai holds an International Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University, a PhD in Immunology, and an MSc in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and has been recognized for his academic excellence.
In addition to his professional achievements, Hagai is passionate about yoga, running, and healthcare consulting.
